William Neely, Marketing Director for Telopar, said that the recent announcement by AT&T that they are abandoning the landline phone business prompted the decision to make the SIP accounts available. “We felt that making these accounts available to the public would help to increase public awareness of Voice over IP (VoIP) as a substitute for soon to be phased out landline phone systems.
